Rincon Heights

Rincon Heights is to the south of the University:

Student housing for University of Arizona
It’s history begins in the 1880′s and, if you walk through the area from west to east, you’ll see the progression of building styles.  The west side of the neighborhood was built in the 1920′s and the east after World War II.  On a walk, you’ll find stamps in the cement with “WPA 1938″.  As time progressed, apartment buildings were also constructed.

You’ll find stucco/adobe homes as well as brick and concrete block. Many owners have updated the homes here to make them energy efficient as well as practical.
